Lifta is built so your health information stays yours. This policy explains what the app does — and deliberately does not do — with your data.
Everything you enter in Lifta stays on your device. We do not collect it, transmit it, sell it, or see it. Lifta has no user accounts, no analytics trackers, and no advertising.
To build your training plan, Lifta asks for your first name, your weight and goal weight, your GLP-1 medication and treatment stage, your training experience, and your equipment. As you use the app it also stores your workout history, working weights, daily energy check-ins, and protein logging.
All of this is stored locally on your device using Apple's standard app storage. It is never uploaded to our servers (we operate none for the app), never shared with third parties, and never used for advertising. Deleting the app, or using "Reset everything" in the Profile tab, permanently erases it.
Purchases are processed entirely by Apple through your Apple ID. We never see your payment details. Apple's handling of that data is governed by Apple's privacy policy. You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your App Store settings.
Session reminders are optional, scheduled locally on your device, and never involve a server. Turning them off in the app or in iOS Settings stops them completely.
Lifta stores health-adjacent information (weight, medication stage) that you choose to enter, on-device only. Lifta is not a medical device, does not provide medical advice, and is not a substitute for your prescribing clinician. Lifta does not currently read from or write to Apple Health; if a future version adds HealthKit integration, it will be opt-in and this policy will be updated first.
Lifta is not directed at children under 13, and GLP-1 medications are prescribed under clinical supervision. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
If a future version of Lifta changes how data is handled (for example, optional cloud backup or analytics), we will update this policy and the App Store privacy label before that version ships, and material changes will be highlighted in the app.
